Head of School Search

In November of 2022, Dr. Roddy notified the Board of Directors of his decision to resign from Holy Trinity Episcopal School, effective June 30, 2023. Dr. Roddy has accepted a Head of School position at another Episcopal School in our area.

During 2022 Christmas break, Dr. Roddy’s family learned of a challenging medical diagnosis of a parent that will result in a need for him to travel extensively over the remainder of the school year. As a result, the Board and Dr. Roddy agreed to accelerate the planned transition of the Head of School to Mr. Waller. We wish Dr. Roddy and his family the best as they navigate these challenging circumstances.

The Board of Directors is committed to a smooth and transparent transition for our HTES community. We have assembled a Head of School Search Committee and have begun speaking with candidates. The goal is to have 2 – 3 final candidates that we will introduce to the school community in the fall. After feedback from the school community, we hope to announce the next Head of School in October.
