Greetings Titan family,
I hope all of you are having a fantastic holiday season. This is a wonderful time of year and I am excited to share this week’s news with you.
If you are looking for a way to support HTES during this holiday season, please consider making a gift to the Titan Fund. This annual fund drive is essential to the operation and success of our school. Our participation goal for the Titan Fund (click here for more information) is 100% and we hope your family will consider a generous pledge to this year’s drive. Tamale orders will be available to pick up at Holy Trinity on Tuesday, December 14 between 3:30- 6:00pm.
Alumni and Former Titan Open House
Also on December 14, we are hosting an after school Open House for any alumni or former Titans and families. This event will take place from 4-5:30pm. We will still have Titan Academy on that day.
On Thursday, December 16, we will hold a special Christmas Assembly with musical performances by all students. Please mark your calendar to attend that morning beginning at 8:30.
Titan Academy: December 16
The faculty and staff have been invited by our Board of Directors to a Christmas party after school on Thursday, December 16. Therefore, we will not be able to offer Titan Academy after school care that day. Please arrange for your child to be picked up no later than 4pm on December 16.
As a reminder, Christmas break is from December 17 to January 3. Classes will resume on January 4.
On Monday, January 24 at 6:00pm, we will host our final Admissions/Prospective Family Open House. While this event is mostly geared towards potential new families, current families are welcome to attend.
We are looking to visit neighborhoods to talk about our school. If you are willing and interested in hosting an admissions event at your home for us to meet your friends and neighbors, please contact Ms. Escalante. She and I are scheduling our ’22-’23 admissions events now. We are also planning a weekend onsite event for potential new early childhood (3K, 4K, K) families and a weekday event for potential new 1st – 5th graders. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.
Lost and Found
There are a growing number of items found without names. These items are turned in at the front desk. If you are missing a sweater, hoodie, etc. please see Mrs. Davis. Also, please put your child’s name in their clothing so we can return found items to the owner. Eventually, items not claimed are put in the used uniform inventory for resale.
