Holy Trinity Episcopal School Titans

Greetings Titan family,

I am thankful for a great many things at Holy Trinity.

First, I am thankful for your partnership and support. Our school is truly a special place and we could not do the great work we do without your support.

I am thankful for our Board of Directors. Their guidance, vision, and attention to the long-term success of our school is critical to our mission. They also gave me the honor of serving this wonderful community.

Finally, I am grateful for the faculty and staff. Your children are blessed to have a team of educators with them each day that has truly embraced the concept of making the world kinder and smarter. Our staff embodies our core values and has created a culture of love and support that enriches the lives of each other and our students.

As we break for Thanksgiving, please note these important items.

Titan Fund

The Titan Fund is our annual giving drive. Gifts and pledges to this fund allow us to continue inspiring hearts and engaging minds. Over the past few years, Holy Trinity has been sensitive to the needs of our families, and worked hard to make a Titan experience accessible to more children in the Lake Houston area. One way of doing that was not raising tuition for the past three years. However, tuition alone (even if we had been raising it) cannot cover the costs of operating the school. These costs include salaries for faculty and staff, investment in teaching and learning resources, professional development for teachers, and tuition assistance for qualified families. In addition, the effect of the pandemic on admissions and development have been significant. While there are many signs of recovery, we still need your help.

We hope your family will consider a generous pledge to this year’s drive. Click here for an information packet to help you make your gift. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your family’s contribution, please let me know.

Thanksgiving Assembly

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend this morning’s Thanksgiving assembly. Special thanks goes to Mrs. Henderson for the great work to put the performances together. There will be a Christmas performance, so stay tuned!

Book Fair

This year’s Book Fair appears to have been a huge success! Thank you, and keep reading to and with your children.

Open House

On Monday, January 24 at 6:00pm, we will host our final Admissions/Prospective Family Open House. While this event is mostly geared towards potential new families, current families are welcome to attend.

I am asking each current family to help us make the Open House a success by doing one (or both) of the following.

  1. Attend the event and bring a potential new family with you.
  2. Ask a potential new family to attend and have them tell us you sent them when they check in.

For each family that does one (or both) of the above, your child(ren) will receive a free dress day (to be arranged with me). To RSVP for the event, please click here.

Admissions Events

We are looking to visit neighborhoods to talk about our school. If you are willing and interested in hosting an admissions event at your home for us to meet your friends and neighbors, please contact Ms. Escalante. She and I are scheduling our ’22-’23 admissions events now. We are also planning a couple of weekend onsite events for potentially new early childhood (3K, 4K, K) families. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Annual Food Drive

Thank you to everyone for supporting our food drive. This was a record breaking event with well over 1000 pounds of food donated to HAAM (Humble Area Assistance Ministries). Your generosity will help many families this season.

I look forward to seeing you again after the holiday.

It’s a great time to be a Titan,
