Halloween Event/Monster Mash/Trunk or Treat

On Friday, October 28, we will do some trick or treating and have a Monster Mash dance party before going to class parties in the afternoon. Costume guidelines include:

  • Costume masks cannot be worn during the school day for safety purposes.
  • Costumes that are overly scary are not allowed – we are young child friendly. Also, blood and gore or images depicting anything of the sort are not allowed.
  • Costume weapons (swords, guns, etc.) need to stay at home.
  • The Head of School has final word on any items or costumes in question.

Ms. Escalante also sent a message recently with details about the event. There is still time to sign up for being a Trunk or Treat participant.

This year we will be hosting a Trunk or Treat out in our parking lot, we are looking for 10-15 vehicles. If you would like to be part of this please sign up using the following link CLICK HERE, deadline to sign up is Friday, October 21st. You will be responsible to decorate your vehicle and also provide candy for the students, when it comes to the decorating please make sure that it is all kid friendly. Also, no candies or chocolates containing any type of nuts since we do have a few nut allergies, and no gum. We have a total of 81 students this year!

The Trunk or Treat will begin at exactly 1:00pm, set up will begin at 11:30am. We will have the parking lot marked for you to park. If the weather is not in our favor we will move everything inside the gym. Once all of the classes have come through they will head to the gym for our Monster Mash dance party, this will give time for room moms to get ready for classroom parties that will happen from 2:30-3:30pm. Parents are welcome to attend the parties, just make sure you sign in at the front office with Ms. Davis.

Room moms, please make sure you communicate with the parents in your class and also include your teacher so that we are all on the same page when it comes to your classroom party. We do have a few changes for our Early Childhood classes, Pk3 will have their party in the Specials Room. Pk4 will have their party in the Genius Lab and Kindergarten will have their party in the Dining Hall. Everyone else will have parties in their own classroom.
