We are wrapping up a fantastic start to the 21-22 school year. Thank you all for your patience, cooperation, and partnership. As we get ready for week 2, here are a few items I want to mention this week.

When arriving for drop off or pick up, please avoid driving through the lot. Most families have figured out the flow of traffic by now, but we sometimes have people walking through and we want to keep them safe. Also, at pick up, if you arrive before 3:15, please park in a designated parking spot and wait to line up. We need to keep the lanes free for deliveries, etc. and would appreciate your help in that area.

On most Fridays, we allow HTES spirit wear in place of the uniform. It is not a free dress day. Students are expected to wear HTES items. We will have a new spirit wear sale soon. Regular uniform is fine, also. On Tuesday, we will have our first Chapel of the year. Please wear your Chapel uniform that day if you can.

The updated Handbook is available on our website under “Community.” Also, if you still have health forms to turn in to Mr. Waller, please remember to do so as soon as possible.

On almost every Thursday that we are in school, I hold Office Hours LIVE! on our Facebook channel at 9am. Feel free to join me again next week. Related to that, if you are not following us on our socials, please do so. We are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

Finally, while we continue to search for a new music teacher, former HTES teacher, Cheryl Strickland, will be substituting in that class. Cheryl is very familiar with our school and has been a substitute teacher for us in the past. We are happy to have her back to help us out.

Thank you again for your support.

It’s a great time to be a Titan,
