Greetings Titan family!
I hope this week’s message finds you and your family well. We are a month away from the end of the third quarter. Though the year seems to be going by very fast, we still have much to do. We are excited for a wonderful last push of the ‘21-’22 school year while working on plans for ‘22-’23.
One change that I was recently informed about relates to the credit card fees FACTS charges. Currently, FACTS charges 2.85%. However, as stated in their announcement (see below), that fee will increase to 2.95% on April 25.
Due to changes in the market, we are adjusting the rates and fees associated with credit card transactions. Beginning April 25, 2022, the fee for credit card transactions will be 2.95%.
Another change that takes place soon is moving from masks required to masks optional on Monday. I outlined, in detail, this change in my message earlier this week. For those details, please see that message.
Shifting gears, this week’s “Be a Titan” event for prospective students in grades 1-5 was quite successful. Tomorrow, we host a similar experience for prospective 3K, 4K, and Kindergarten students from 9-11am. It’s not too late for additional RSVP’s. If you have friends, neighbors, or colleagues, who may be interested in sending their children to HTES next year, this is a great opportunity to get to know our school. Please contact Ms. Escalante for more information or RSVP here.
Volunteer efforts for the remainder of this year and mapping out next year are part of the agenda at the next TPA (Titan Parents’ Association) meeting on Wednesday, February 23 at 8am in the Gym Commons/Dining Hall. Please mark your calendars and join us as we continue to align our volunteer efforts.
Re-enrollment for ‘22-’23 has begun and ends Monday, February, 28. Thank you to all who have re-enrolled so far! After February 28, we offer open spots in classes to new applicants, then have open enrollment for any remaining spots after that. Re-enrolling by February 28 secures your spot for next year. If you have not re-enrolled yet, I ask that you please consider doing so as soon as possible. In addition, if there are circumstances that are making re-enrollment a challenge for your family, I urge you to please contact me to discuss how we can help.
Remember that enrolling before the end of the month qualifies your family for a $500 tuition discount per child. If your family intends to apply for tuition assistance, please do so as soon as possible. Tuition assistance notices will go out at the end of the month. Then, remaining funds will be made available to new applicants. You do not need to wait for your tuition assistance notice to re-enroll.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Thank you again for your support.
It’s a great time to be a Titan,
